The Replant Network is a ministry designed to equip, coach and connect churches for the work of replanting dying and declining congregations.

The Problem

Each year, thousands of U.S. churches close their doors permanently. From 2023–2024, the Southern Baptist Convention reported 964 new churches, yet saw a net loss of 30—nearly 1,000 churches gone. 75–90% of churches are plateaued or declining. We cannot plant fast enough. Replanting is essential.

To equip churches to replant dying congregations so that Christ is glorified, communities are reached, and healthy churches multiply.

Our Mission

Our Vision

Our ten-year vision is to see 100 dying churches replanted for the glory of God.

What is Replanting?

Replanting is the work of saving dying churches from closing permanently. We do this by equipping stronger churches to send people and resources to join the struggling congregation to restart the church. Replanting includes new leaders, ministries and vision.

Church Values

  • We are committed to proclaiming the deep truths of Scripture with clarity and conviction, equipping God’s people with a solid theological foundation for life and godliness.

  • Under Christ’s rule, leaders prayerfully set direction and mobilize resources with a biblical vision that keeps the church focused on God’s mission.

  • Preaching that is rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ and faithfully unfolds the meaning of Scripture, addressing the needs of God’s people in every text.

  • We joyfully structure our churches according to the Word of God, in which elders lead, deacons serve and members covenant together in Christ.

  • We intentionally invest in people to grow as disciples of Jesus who in turn make disciples, fulfilling the Great Commission.

  • We are devoted to advancing the gospel in our own community and to the ends of the earth, partnering with others to see Christ glorified among all nations.

Network Values

  • We joyfully partner with like-minded churches, laying aside personal preferences to see Christ’s kingdom advance.

  • We affirm that every local church is self-governed under Christ’s lordship and the authority of His Word.

  • We pursue a posture of learning and listening, knowing our work is accomplished effectively when we humbly learn from one another.

  • We freely give of our time, resources, and people to bless others and fuel gospel work, expecting nothing in return.

  • We cultivate authentic relationships that encourage, strengthen, and unite us in Christ’s mission together.

Doctrinal Distinctives

  • God’s sovereign grace is His free and undeserved favor by which He saves sinners entirely according to His will and not human merit. It magnifies His glory in choosing, calling, and preserving His people so that salvation is wholly of the Lord from beginning to end.

  • istoric Baptist ecclesiology is the conviction that the local church is a gathered body of baptized believers who covenant together under the lordship of Christ, governed by His Word. It emphasizes regenerate church membership, congregational authority under Christ, and the leadership of biblically qualified elders and deacons.

  • The biblical concepts of gender, marriage, and sexuality are rooted in God’s creation order and revealed in His Word.

    • Gender: God created humanity male and female in His image (Gen. 1:27), with equal dignity yet distinct roles that complement one another in family and church.

    • Marriage: Marriage is a covenant union between one man and one woman, instituted by God to display Christ’s covenant love for His church (Gen. 2:24; Eph. 5:31–32).

    • Sexuality: Sexual intimacy is a good gift of God designed exclusively for marriage, to be enjoyed in holiness, fidelity, and fruitfulness, while all distortions of sexuality (fornication, adultery, homosexuality, etc.) are contrary to God’s design (Heb. 13:4; 1 Cor. 6:9–20).
